Special Olympics Basketball Tourney coming to B-R, Stonehill Feb. 4
More than 700 Special Olympics Athletes and Unified Partners are expected to compete in the Special Olympics Massachusetts South Section Basketball Assessment Tournament. On Saturday, Feb. 4 the 60 teams expected to compete will be split between the Sally Blair Ames Sports Complex at Stonehill and Bridgewater Raynham High School.

The Little Giants dominated their first game over BBCHS with a score of 44 to 25. The Championship game against the Kankakee Kays was a nail biter with Canton coming out on top with a score of 39-36.

Fenton charity game to help Special Olympics team compete at state
Fenton High School's Special Olympics basketball team formed just last year, yet players are already on their way to their second state championship. This spring, the team from Bensenville will head to Bloomington-Normal to compete in the state basketball March 16-18. ndon Feb. 8, Fenton will host a charity basketball game to raise about $2,000 needed for the team to travel to the tournament.
